Rose Ice Cream / Rose Kulfi
I was looking at a show on netflix called "time to eat by nadiya hussain. She made this super duper easy Ice cream. I had all the ingredients and more so I decided to do rose flavour.
This has to be easiest fuss free ice cream you can make.
INGREDIENTS
- Double cream - 300 ml
- Condensed milk - 1 can (397 gms)
- Rose essence - 2 tsp
- Roohafza - 2 tsp (I added just to get that light pink colour)
- Dried rose petals - 1 tbsp or more if you like it (this is more a garnish this)
- Keep some rose petals aside for garnish
You can do with out the last two ingredients.
METHOD
- In a big mixing bowl add all the ingredients and whip it till you get stiff peaks. Make sure you don't beat it a lot... You want whipped cream not butter.
- Pour into a freezer friendly container. I added a little rose petals on top to make it look nice.
- Freeze for 3 hours - 5 hours at least.
- Serve cold just like that or with nuts or with any topping of your choice.
- You can even pour it into kulfi moulds
VARIATIONS
- add any flavour of your choice and make it into the ice cream you like.
