Rasam Powder
INGREDIENTS
- Coriander / Dhaniya seeds - 3 cups - roast without oil
- Jeera / cumin seeds - 1 cup - roast without oil
- Peppercorns - 1 cup - roast without oil
- Methi / fenugreek seeds - 1/4th cup - roast without oil
- red chillies - 2 cups - roast in oil
- hing / asafoetidia - 1 big piece - roast in oil till it swells up
- curry leaves - few - roast in oil
METHOD
Mix all the above and power well. Store it in an air tight box.
You can decrease the amount of chillies if you don't need it very spicy.
