Quick Choco Cake

A thoughtful friend of mine - Dhruti or DD as I call her... decided to share a sweet treat with all her friends... Here is the email I got from her this morning...



Hi Guys
Over the last 3 days we tried out this quick cake and it turns out really well. With Xmas and Celebrations around the corner, if any one of u is interested in making a quick cake here is the recipe to it Recipe for quick choco cake


INGREDIENTS
  1. 2 packets Glucose biscuit
  2. 2 packets Hide & Seek/ Bourn Bon or any choco biscuit
  3. Sugar
  4. Eno - Fruit Salt
  5. 1 cup Milk
  6. 1 cup Water
  7. Walnuts
METHOD
  1. Grind the glucose & Choco biscuits into a fine mixture
  2. Take 1 small tea cup of milk and mix it with 1 tea cup of water
  3. Put the biscuit mixture in a big bowl, add 4 tablespoons of sugar, add the walnuts, and milk water mixture together stir
  4. Add about 2 spoons of Eno and mix well to form a batter which is not too thick and not too thin. If u think it not blended well u can add some more milk and water
  5. Butter a microwave dish, add the mixture in the dish, add some walnuts on top and if u like u can add some choco sauce on top
  6. Put the dish in the microwave for 7 mins, and after that just put a fork to check if it done, remove the dish and let is rest for 3- 4 minutes after its done.
TIPS
  1. You can add some strawberry jam or mixed fruit jam to the batter to give it a different flavour
  2. Garnish or top with a scoop of ice cream, chocolate sauce and some berries or nuts
  3. You could also use whipped cream instead of ice cream

I tried this recipe... turned out amazing....I served it with vanilla and chocochip icecream and fresh strawberries as toppings.... rocking good...thanks....
